Coaching &
Counselling

for Procrastination, Overwhelm, Building Routines & Lasting Change

You want change — but you just can’t make it last.

Whether it’s starting things earlier, sticking to routines, or keeping up momentum, you always end up back where you started. That's where I come in. I help you build a way of working that actually fits your brain, so you can finally follow through on what matters to you.

I specialize in coaching and counselling for general change, procrastination, overwhelm, stress management, habits, routines, and executive functioning challenges. If traditional productivity advice hasn’t worked for you — or if you’re neurodivergent (e.g. ADHD, autism) — we will figure out what does. So you can get things done through without constant stress, guilt, or last-minute panic. Whether you want to finally hand in an essay on time, exercise regularly, or stay on top of everyday tasks, we work towards practical, lasting change.

Sessions are available online and in person in Amsterdam and Almere. Book a free intro call.

Does this sound familiar?

  • You keep putting things off, even when they matter to you
  • You start things last minute and end up stressed — again
  • You make plans, but somehow don’t follow through
  • You feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start
  • You’ve tried to “just be more disciplined”, but it doesn’t stick

And underneath it all, there’s this thought: “I know what to do… so why can’t I just do it?”
It can feel like you are wasting your potential and creating unnecessary stress for yourself.

It does not have to stay this way.
Most advice assumes that the same methods work for everyone. But they don’t.
Instead, we figure out what works for you. So you can start tasks more easily, follow through more consistently, build routines that actually stick, and feel more in control again.

We might work on things like:

  • starting and finishing a thesis, portfolio, or work project without getting stuck in avoidance
  • building routines for your private life and work that actually suit you
  • managing overwhelm, stress, and resistance before things pile up

Through coaching and counselling, we:

  • explore what is getting in your way
  • test small, realistic changes and adjust based on what works and what doesn’t
  • build a system that fits your brain, your life, and your goals

We will work with a mix of practical tools (habits, structure) and deeper work (patterns, beliefs, values) for sustainable change.

If you recognize yourself in this description, book a free intro call and we can explore it together.

Client Testimonials

  • I worked with Ariane in coaching sessions over a longer period of time, and it helped me tremendously. She is a very empathetic and trustworthy person who listens carefully and guides you onto your own path through thoughtful, well-placed questions. She creates a comfortable atmosphere in which I was able to open up easily.

At a time when I felt very stuck and lost, she helped me bring more structure and routines back into my everyday life. She also supported me in figuring out what is important to me in life and in becoming more aware of my own needs.

I would definitely recommend Ariane and would always return to her if I found myself struggling to deal with problems on my own again, or if I needed someone who could look at things from a different perspective.

  • Working with Ariane has been a genuinely valuable experience.

I started coaching without a clear end goal, but Ariane helped me untangle my thoughts and identify what I actually wanted to work on. From there, she guided me in building a few keystone habits that created space for creativity, brought more structure to my days, and helped me spend my time in ways that felt genuinely satisfying.

She has a calm, perceptive way of noticing patterns, asking the right questions, and gently steering you toward more helpful approaches — all without judgement. Our sessions were collaborative and grounded, and over time, we built a personalised toolkit I now use to support both my creative work and my ADHD.

We made mind maps, created matrixes and dopamine menus, talked about habit loops, and examined resistance in a way that felt grounded and doable. We also explored rituals, and experimented with small but effective routines. I began setting achievable writing goals — like 15-minute sprints with a coffee reward — and found myself not just getting more done, but actually enjoying the process again.

We also looked at the mental health side of things: working through anxiety, tackling negative self-talk, and using visualisation exercises to find more calm when things felt overwhelming.

One small but incredibly helpful detail: she took notes during our sessions. That meant I could stay present in the moment, even when my thoughts were jumping around, and still walk away with a clear summary and practical next steps.

What I’m taking away now is a more compassionate, practical way of supporting myself — and a set of tools I know I can come back to whenever I need a reset.

I’d definitely recommend working with Ariane if you’re looking for thoughtful, grounded support in making real, sustainable change.

  • I’m really grateful for her support and guidance. She helped me a lot with organizing myself and managing my ADHD challenges, but also by truly listening and understanding me. Thanks to her, I have a clearer view of things, my communication has improved, and I feel more confident in everyday situations.

The atmosphere is always warm, relaxed, and supportive, which makes it easy to open up and work on real solutions.

I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to grow and improve. She genuinely cares, and it makes a big difference. Warm recommendation ☺️

  • Although we only had a few sessions together, the coach taught me about some interesting and useful tools which I was not aware of to help me work with my ADHD traits and my perfectionist nature. Our conversations were always interesting and insightful and I felt comfortable having these conversations with her. She listened intently and offered support and understanding.

The coach used tangible tools which we worked together on to help support certain struggles I was having (for example doing timed illustrations for each letter of the alphabet to help me let go of my perfectionist tendencies and realise it’s ok to do so).

I have learnt some great tools which I will take forward as I continue to work on this. It was also extremely beneficial for me to have someone to talk to who understands, and who has a lot of knowledge of different tools which can benefit an ADHD brain.
